Diabetes : Mother cause of all the diseases .

Awareness for health among the peoples become an issue as a matter of fact people do often lost in some kind of hazardous food habits or being profound with the use of alcohol and smoking. These habits usually we can get rid of but many of us can't and lead to addiction or daily use of these health hazardous practices.
In the recent years I have come across Diabetes Patients in Hospital and seen the number gross in huge numbers. According to Official WHO reports in India nearly 63 Millions peoples are suffering from Diabetes and  become the fast growing epidemic in every state of India. Like in Arunachal Pradesh the self awareness among the people for Diabetes is relatively low. The native people in the state usually have mixed food habits often eat red meat, prefer sour taste of bamboo suits, drinking home made alcohols of wheat and rice, drinking water without proper treatment,  high consumption of sugar in terms of Milk tea, beverages and sweets staffs, less exercises, not prefer walking or using of public transportation etc.
I have come across a known person who have been suffering from  diabetes from the year 1998 . I seen him while taking Insulin injection from that early years and now because of diabetes his condition is very bad that without the daily treatments his life span is countable.
He often take three dose of insulin every day as per the prescription of the Doctor. He told that starting treatment for Diabetes seem's to be controllable for some years but after  that his health become deteriorating because of high blood sugar due to not maintaining his prescript food habits and lack of medical facilities in the area. In the state the facility of medical is poor and also less number of specialists doctors in some fields like for Kidney, Diabetes, hearts, surgical doctors.
One day I thought to enquire about his health condition and also got the feel to ask him about the causes of his deteriorating health , he told me  about his early days which might be some of early  stage for diabetes . He told that in year 1995 he was seriously suffering from Jaundice and Malaria because of lack of medical facilities he was referred to RK Mission, Itanagar for further treatment . After some weeks of intense treatment and care he was survived. He also told about his food habits like comsumption of red meat, high level carbohydrate diets, daily  drinking of 4 to 5 cups of milk tea, drinking of beverages made of rice and wheats in some extend, bamboo suits.
After some years his health goes down and went to Itanagar for treatment. On treatment the Doctor asked him for some test and found to be a patient of diabetes. During that time awareness for Diabetes was very new for him and took the case not seriously. The Doctor asked him to take doses of insulin regularly . After that he started to take Insulin. But after some year again he went for check up and the Doctor prescripts some medicines to avoid uses of Insulin.  In a year he told every quarterly his health started to deteriorate because of uncontrolled sugar level reaching 200 -350 during that time. Till then that he not continuously maintain his food diets.
Then I asked him what were the reasons for deterioration of health now. He told during year 2009 the sugar level were intensively high which leads him for bedridden for nearly 6 months . He said he was suffering from paralysis because of uncontrolled sugar level. He was admitted to RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar  during his treatment for both Diabetes and paralysis. For some months he was unable to stand or move his legs and because of laying for prolong months his left leg got wounds develop of yellow plasma type fluids. Then he asked the Doctor for dressing of that wound but the dressing got over their was deep hole because of discharged fluids. Day's get passed by the wound did get heal as a result the condition get bad. The Doctor said this is the common problem that Diabetes patient face. The wound  time to heal or sometime it may failed in Diabetes patient. During that time the doctor started to give him Intravenous therapy where drips were coated with silver films three times daily to heal the wound. After continuous infusion of drip the wound started to heal. During the mid of the treatment the Doctor prescripts him for Physiotheraphytime . During that time the doctor started to give him Intravenous therapy where drips were coated with silver films three times daily to heal the wound. After continuous infusion of drip the wound started to heal.
He had underwent treatment from Diabetes to paralysis and after 6 months he got discharged . He remembered the year 2015 due to diabetes he got kidney stones of sizes of 14 , 08, 07 which was detected in MRI scan in RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar and refer to Guwahati for further treatment. He told one's he thought not to go because he was tried of medical treatment throughout the life time but convinced by his family and went to International Hospital, Guwahati.
In the hospital after the various tests the doctor told the shock things about the kidney is that right side kidney is failed and the left kidney is getting effected due to diabetes. He told he was broken but the Doctor reconcile him that there are various treatment available to relief for some period of years. But after some years of the medication and went for daily check up he got the saddest news again that his both kidney failed. The Doctor asked his willingness for Continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) operation in a term of Home dialysis. After gathering some thorough information , he opted the CAPD operation with an expenditure of Rs 1.70 Lakhs (may varies). The Doctor told him how to carry on home dialysis and told him to take care of the wound on the belly where some kind of tube was fitted as for diabetes patient the wound heal very slowly and because of that might led infection. For 4 -6 months, the home dialysis was going fine but because of some kind of manageable factor he felt cold during the dialysis , the skin of the body started to change in dark complex and weight started to lose. He told CAPD operation did not suit for his body as one's the doctor told that for this type of operation your diets are very important depending on how you operate, and the rate of success is not that much. After the failed result of CADP operation he went one operation to took out the tube that was connected to the belly at RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar. The Doctor told him for one more operation for dialysis that was fitting of fistula at the hand and refer him at Guwahati. He underwent operation for fistula at International Hospital, Guwahati and started his dialysis from that time onwards. At the hospital for one time dialysis the cost was Rs 5000 - 7000 (approx) and weekly he was prescribed for 3 times dialysis. He mention now he is undergoing three times per week dialysis treatment at Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences at Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme (PMNDP). The service provider of Dialysis Units is Kolkata-based Eskag Sanjeevani Pvt Ltd.
On 12 April 2018, Arunachal Pradesh had received a free dialysis units under PMNDP at TRIHMS, Naharlagun 👇👇👇

Official website of Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences :

Pictures of the dialysis units 👇👇

At first he was unaware about the dialysis unit at Naharlagun but told him by another kidney failure patient at RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar during regular dialysis. He told that during dialysis some of the following factors are examined
1. Weight of the body
2. Test of blood in every 2-3 weeks for any kind of blood infection
3. Test related Creatine test, blood percentage, electrolyte etc.
He also mention some of the difficulties he faced during dialysis:
1. BP get high during dialysis reaching till 250
2. Frequent head pain
3. Low electrolytes due to which he get admitted many a times.
4. High percentage of Creatine
5. High rate of heart beats
6. Oxygen level in the body get suddenly low upto 70 %
7. Vomiting.

He told that as an advice one should thoroughly go for check up for diabetes , don't use the insulin in early stage instead opt medicine to control the diabetes .Some of the important factor a kidney failure patient should take care:
1. Weight of the body
2. Low consumption of water
3. Low or restrict carbohydrate diets.
He often mention during his conversation that before dialysis the medical stuffs take weight of the patients like for him the marginal weight kept 52 kg, if the weight get increased more than 52 kg then that much Kg in litres are eliminated in the dialysis. After dialysis he sometimes take some dose of "Eposis" injection for increasing the blood in the body from the medical staffs, the cost is Rs 1400 - 1500 (may varies)per dose . Lastly he said Diabetes is the mother of all the diseases like now he is suffering from both kidney failure (Chronic), high BP, irregularity in heart beats, oxygen percentage get suddenly low, low electrolytes , blackened skin complex, body muscle get shrink, frequent headache etc. The condition of his diabetes and kidney failure are chronic so he can't undergoes for kidney transplantation operation. I can see his bad condition as he is merely a Govt. employee in the Education Department and have to worry about his family expenses too . Till now he made gross expenditure more than Rs 30 lakhs ( may increase) with a total medical reimbursement of Rs 25 lakhs ( claimed but did not get the financial support) . Frankly I often get worried how he can manage from his only salary for his regular treatment and also for the expenses of college fees for all of his sons and daughters with theirs day to day requirements.Some of the points stressed me out during the conversation with him;
1. Less awareness of health issues,
2. Stress to be taken when you frequently have back pain,
3. Low consumption of carbohydrate diets and sugar,
4. Drinking adequate quantity of water,
5. Make time for routine check up,
6. Avoid consumption of alcohol or any bad habits that may result effects in the organs.
7. Notice the colour of urine ,

Note: These experiences are taken on oneself, please any problems in your body do consult the Doctor.

Interference of Obsessed activities in Studies :

One of the major problem I have been come across as a being an unemployed engineering youth in the atmosphere to be a talent candidate, I have to study  to qualify any technical exam. To qualify examination means I have to thoroughly study with hard work only but this is the challenge I am facing every seconds. I know the mantra of success is only the hardwork  but often come across luck too matter. Yes this phrase is right luck too matter only if we work hard and utilized the time for studies . In present We are seeing and facing different challenges like actively busy on phone, adequate time  for social networking, friendship circle, domestic works, documental related works, relationship etc.
But till now what I am stuck with the problems after being close to 5 years as an unemployed youth (completing graduation) are very often busy on social network, addictive to cell phone, busy in friendship circle and social networking. It's better to say all the above are my related problems that I am finding hard to overcome, better these are leading me to freeze or demoralising my potential. Being remaining unemployment for more than 5 years really crumbles my eternal happiness with a time span of sour ugly face all the time. So we can imagine how the table will look like if we stop studying and trying for fresh start 👇👇👇

When I lost in deepest thought it seems I can touch the depth of ocean when ever I question myself "What I did all the time about  the  studies ? " and What I did till now to built my blocks of knowledges ! .
Every years very hardworking candidates get selected and every time I get demoralised but when I ask myself "Did I prepare to that level to that of selected candidates ,the answer is always No" .
I know some of my problems like cramming  my topics I never try very bit to understand and write the topic by my own words that is one the serious issue that I didnot tried to correct. Again also studying at the time when examination is closed to the date  other than that I lost in that type of activities where I can waste my time .
Realistic moment I am coming across daily;
Generally When I sit in the chair for some minutes I felt like to study but after 20 minutes my heart get some kind of itching sensation for not  to continue my studies. This notion make me to struggle for continuing my studies . I place myself tangled with many questions "How those selected candidates studies! and I also question my determination .
Whether I am lacking in determination and answer is pretty big "Yes. Universal truth that I have to utilize my time for my studies or else I will lack behind "Studies should be for oneself " .
I am looking forward to correct some of these factors for improving or utilizing my time for the studies:
1. Habits for reading, writing, note making.
2. Three shifts studying of the topic: Morning 1-2 hours, Afternoon 1 hours and Evening shifts to be stressed for more hours.
3. Minimizing friends circle.
4. Meeting and discussing with selected candidates or technical officials .
5. Avoiding bad habits.
6. Keeping my table with avaible free space before studies.
7. Minimizing social networking and also keeping my Phone away while studying.
8. Maximum using of my time for the studying.
9. Waking early morning but that too this will be going to be tough to adopt and this will be one of major challenge to accomplish.
10. Proper notes and books materials.
11. To find a reason for my determination.
12. Drinking adequate water daily.
